National Speaker and Author Visits Casper

National author and speaker Koren Zailckas visted Casper during Red Ribbon Week on October 23rd. She spoke to 40 high school age students who read her book "Smashed". They had a closed discussion about underage drinking. Later there was a book signing by the author. She then had an open forum for the public where she discussed alcohol, media and teens.
She took time for questions and answers from the more than 20 people at the forum. Many questions centered around how parents can look for warning signs of underage drinking and how to prevent underage drinking from happening.
